Built a new computer, needed a place to gather all my files! This was a great deal! Lots of space, even after dumping all of my files from 30 years in IT! Still plenty of room!

This thing is a beast! So much storage easy to hook up and does not put off much heat. Thinking of buying a second one for back up because the price was so great!

Needed more space for my Plex server, this for the bill. Not too expensive and I like the reliability of Western Digital. I've bought this brand many times and have never had a failure. Highly recommend.

I am a DJ and I needed to back up the hard drive I use when playing music. I also needed a HD for storing music I download from my record pool. It has been instrumental with safeguarding my music that I pay a lot of money for.

I'm involved in many technical graphic reports, videos, and images that need to be stored and found quickly. A 12 TB drive is exactly what I needed for storage. It hooked up without any problems and I put it to work immediately to access all my graphics files now in separate folders easy to find and reference. I'd recommend this item to anyone like myself that is a bit worried about cloud privacy and instead is looking for a secure home available high storage capacity device.

When purchased at a sale price, it's a very good value proposition, especially for those with interest in removing the casing. Unlike past models, no additional modification or kapton tape is required to continue enjoying its use.

Work great. A lot of storage to consolidate and back-up several computers. Hoping to get all my photos on it and get them sorted out and duplicates identifies. Good price and I have had excellent experience with Western Digital over the years.

Great disk for backups of photos. Large, and seems to be steady and sturdy. It is great for large number of files backup. I would not use this as a cache disk or other things that need speed.

This was a great addition to my storage solutions and the amount space you get for the price is amazing. The indexing software that come was a neat little add-on and definitely speeds up searches with the ability to save them to collections.

Lots of storage and at a great. I've stored my complete music library, family videos, pictures, documents and phone back up on this drive and still have almost 11TB to work with.

Got these to expand my NAS storage. Been working almost non stop ever since so 2 years no problems. Got them on sale for 15/tb so a good deal.

Easy to use and great price for a big hard drive capacity

I use this to store my media. Couldn't be happier with the performance. Easy to set up and easy to use, works efficiently. Highly recommended.

Easy software install. Allows for large amounts of photos and video as well as any type of files. I currently have almost 290,000 photos from over the years. Easy to schedule your backup on a daily basis. Great purchase.

The WD EasyStore 12TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive was my choice and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The drive is hefty, but it's not designed to be portable like a pocket USB external drive.

I recently purchased a WD easystore 12 TB external hard drive toreplace a failing Seagate 3 TB external hard drive. As a side note, I would have purchased the 14 TB WD drive, but I just didn't want to spend the extra $100.00. One odd thing about the WD drive is that it comes pre-formatted as one HUGE partition! When I called WD Tech. Support, I was told that WD does not recommend partitioning the drive...just make LOTS of folders if I feel the need to "organize" data. The other really odd thing WD recommends strongly is to TURN OFF the easystore drive BEFORE powering down the computer...and powering up the easystore BEFORE powering up the computer. The easystore does not turn off when the computer is powered down! It goes into stand-by mode. One last note...The easystore is lightning fast!

This 12 TB Drive have worked flawlessly for several weeks now. I’ve loaded onto this drive several laptop and desktops’ files so they are in one place. Very impressive HD space.

I bought this on sale, so it was a great price. I was able to back up my tower computer and 3 laptops, and still have room for much more.

The device works great and can store a ton off pictures, files, and 3d prints. It awesome! Bulky and sturdy it would also act as an anti theft device if someone wanted to take your goods. Safety is always the way.
