No surprises so far from this external hard drive. Package arrived undamaged and its small overall footprint size is a plus not only when it use but when stored in my laptop bag. Easy setup for a new laptop to ensure important backup files are saved for future reference. Quick transfer of files and no issues with easy of use. Great value for the money and I would recommend it to my friends who may also want a reliable way to back up files easily.

This definitely did the job i was using it for. I tb is plenty and it was fast and easy to use and i wpuld recommend it if your backing up your pc or storing music or anything important.

Bought for grandson to take to tradeschool. It has worked great for him. It allows him to store his class work on a portable device and not use up the internal memory. The size, speed and ease of use has been very effective.

Purchased this as an alternative to a very bulky 1TB backup drive for my Macbook Pro. As a photographer, photos and videos amass on my computer at an alarming speed. And because of the high quality nature of the files, I know it's time to do a clean out when my whole system starts to slow down. The problem was, having to set up an external drive with an independent power source was just annoying. This little gem has twice the storage and is about a quarter of the size of my other drive. I keep it within reach of my bed, where I do 99% of my editing. Whenever I need to dump files, or pull files, my passport drive is so convenient and FAST. RAW files and high definition video files have no problems jumping ship from my mac to the passport in a very timely fashion. Ultra Portable really does mean ultra portable for this little black book. If I know I'll be shooting a lot of footage that I'll need to dump later, or I may need to retrieve old photos for editing, chucking my passport into my backpack or camera case is so convenient. Also, not having to find yet another plug to power it with while my phone, computer, and spare camera battery are charging is a relief. I don't have to worry about knocking it over, sucking up dust, or tripping over wires. Awesome little product. No cons! Buy it!

The hard drive was portable and easy to use. It is plug and play USB powered, and was budget friendly. Opt for the 2TB drive for an extra $15+, you will be better off in the long run.

I remember when external drives were HUGE!! I still have a 1TB external that I use in my business that's the size of a college textbook! This external drive is awesome and so much more portable. I was able to get all of the items from an old hard drive transferred to it when the CPU was hit by lightning. Geek Squad saved everything and set-up this external drive for us. Now, I've got a much more portable drive for when I'm traveling to scan objects as well as plenty of space for more data after clearing-out what wasn't necessary (program operational files, etc.). And you can't be the price, either!

It truly does live to its name. Its Easy to use with fast response time and at a great value price. I swear I paid less for MORE space than my previous External Hard Drive!!!

I bought this for a Xbox series S which doesn't come with much space on it's internal SSD, set up was easy, it stores extra games just fine. It has a small profile doesn't take up much space you barely notice it's there. This is mainly for storing non enhanced Xbox one games it's great for that but not to store the enhanced ones you have buy the overpriced Seagate ssd for that which is unfortunate Seagate is known for making garbage products that fail quickly, hopefully WD will make an SSD for Xbox one day

This is often at a very good price. It has lots of storage and runs quietly and dependably. It was easy to format to work with Mac.

I use this HD to back Up my Apple Mac Mini. Works great using the Apple Time Machine protocol. Have used it as well to transfer my data Wifi-Fi from my old iMac to my new Mac Mini and worked great. Its small size fits great on my desk, since it does not take a lot of space. Have had it for over a year with no issues.
