Using this as a backup device for my mac with Time Machine. Did not need the software that came with it, and dont recommend you do either.

This is a nice small platter drive - works great and was very inexpensive (compared to SSD). Also platters are better (IMO) for CCTV video storage since no issues with too many re-writes for SSD style HDs.

I know there are smaller memory banks but for the price this one is a must have.

This WD external hard drive is exactly what I needed in order to back up my important document. I find it to be very user friendly.

I own several WD external drives and have been very happy with the performance and ease of use. They are my first choice whenever I need to invest in more external drive storage.

It worked great. Pulled it out of the box, read the instructions and started to use the Hard drive.

I love this hard drive. I use it for backing up devices at home and the 2TB is enough space for 2 computers. do note that to use it with my Mac I had to reformat the hd as it was formatted for pc's. nothing difficult.

This is a very nice WD - Easystore 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive, easy to use and easy to install.

I had a few backup devices in the past and each one had one or more issues. This device by Western Digital is great! It is easy to use, and I was able to back up my entire hard drive in a relatively short space of time despite the drive size. It was literally plug and play and I did not have to do too much or have any real technical know how to set this up and get it going. The item itself is small enough to fit on a shelf or a safe space. It is light weight and I really would recommend this to anyone looking for external storage devices.
