Works great. Plug and play. No setup needed at all.

You have to run the built-in software before you can save anything to the drive but once that is done you are good to go. ON MAC: you may mysteriously get locked out from the drive (file saving blocked) but you can overcome that by granting the Mac USER account access (RIGHT CLICK ON DRIVE ICON, GET INFO, SHARING AND PERMISSIONS). Just grant the user permission...viola!

This is a no-brainer affordable and valuable hard-drive with enough storage for pictures, videos and any other files.

The storage capacity suits my needs perfectly. It's compact enough for me to take it with me wherever I go. Got it for a great price, too!

Great capacity drive with very useful backup SW. I just set it up once and now it backs up any changes weekly.

I've been using WD hard drives for about 17 years now. So far bought about 30-40 HDs and never had any issues with Western Digital. Also own a 2T My Passport witch is a little faster than the EasyStore version, but 4T for $99 is unbeatable. Great product.

Compact, easy to use, lots of storage for files and pics

I did not personally use the WD (Western Digital) aspect of this device, but moving files & photos to and from this device were simple and easy.

I knew I could trust WD from previous purchases used for backing up pc’s and also as a DVR for Dish Network. I was amazed at how simple the easystore is to use, and at the incredible price of $99.00 for 4 TB on the deal of the day from Best Buy, I recommend this drive to anyone looking to backup files from a Laptop or pc and for the photographer’s it’s a great drive to store pictures and videos. I had filled my laptop up with concert videos from my camera and GoPro and this little drive was the perfect one to purchase. When I first saw the size I was not so sure about it but the file transfer is fast and smooth with a great software package from Western Digital. I also like that it is powered through the USB cable and doesn’t need external power. I like it so much I am going to buy another one. Get one and you will be satisfied!

I think this is a great Storage Option. I really don't think I will ever use 4TB of storage but is always good to know it is there. It has a nice compact size which I was looking for because it stays in my backpack. It's easy to use just plug and play and that's it. Comes with software to back up which is great too

I purchased this hdd to use as an extended storage for my PS4. I have had no issues with this product, works great. So much space left after transferring all apps from my primary.

Use it mainly to store game downloads for my Xbox. I haven’t used it for anything but gaming, but it’s still very responsive. Have not experienced any lagging, will update if it happens.

Love WD products and this one can store more memory puctures for me since I take many pictures. I have 4 of their external hard drives (1T’s & 2T’s), but this one has more room for memory and is still compact. The price was on sale in BestBuy so I had to get it.
