I am actually happy that I bought this size of external hard drive. I have tons of pics and it is good to have everything stored in one place.

Yeah this thing is pretty awesome! You get so much storage and it’s super sleek! I’d buy it again! Western Digital lives up to its reputation here!

File transfer is fast using usb 3.0, include some extra software of WD Discovery (backup and utilities tool) and good price by the way!

My 1TB backup was getting full so I got this on Black Friday and am happy I did. I transferred all my previous back up data to it which took a couple hours, I didn't sit and actually watch how long when it said it would take a couple hours though. You can not shuck this drive, I read it is the newer type with like a circuit board on it that you would not be able to connect a SATA cable to it. It is USB 3.0.

This drive has a lot of storage space at a low cost per GB. I have owned many Western Digital drivers and they have always worked well.

This is the best hard drive I’ve had so far. With 4TB of storage space, slim design and low profile this hardware met my highest expectations. Will definitely recommend as a purchase.

I had two one-TB external hard drives i bought while deployed from a different website. It was time to upgrade so that they were less likely to crash and have more storage space. I bought this amazing 4-TB hard drive and LOVE it. It transfers very fast and has all the space I need. I may get another one for my xbox.

I'm only giving it 5 stars sofar as it satisfied my objective extremely well, which was to expand storage for my PS4. I have 53 titles on Xbox1 and 17 titles on PS4. The reason is that the PS4 only recently updated the software to accommodate external storage. Pretty stupid that they waited, right? But better late than never, and that's another review. The point is that this was incredibly easy to set up on PS4. The downloads were fast and the formatting was a cinch. It was recognized by the gaming system immediately from settings. Bear in mind that this is the only function intended for the drive and won't be used elsewhere so the 5 star rating might not be accurate with respect to other purposes.

Lots of space in a small drive. Worked in my Mac after a reformat. Wish it came with a USB y cable so I could use lower power ports.

This Western Digital 4 TB external hard drive is an excellent product. Easy to set up, small and portable along with tons of storage and a breakthrough price make this little gem hard to beat!

This is the perfect form factor for extra storage. 4 TB is ideal for storage of pictures or home videos. The unit is powered by the USB port and not be an external adapter. Great price point on the sale.

I really like this product! I have lots of extra space and it works really well. I don't have any issues of things not loading or loading very slow. It works fast and efficiently. It is a great choice for having extra storage!

Quick and easy to use. Portable Hard Drives have come a long way from their humble brick like size beginnings. Although much smaller and compacted WD hard drives still pack a punch and the increased storage space for less really does help

This is a great drive in a small package. I use it as external storage for my game console and it works great! It provides a lot of room and no additional power supply is required. Very portable!

I bought this to use as extended storage for my PS4 and so far it's worked flawlessly. I also have a 2 TB in the same model that I've used for over a year and a half with no issues.

Good to leave hooked up and backing up a computer at all times. The USB 3.0 makes it fast enough and has speed for any retores you have to do. Not too expensive as it was on sale.

Love this EasyStore from WD! I've always been happy with WD products and this one is the best yet - love the portability and since I wanted just an external w/o the extra software options, I just deleted all of that. Been using it regularly since the day I opened it and it's everything it says and then some.
