I have quite a few of them - I do a lot of traveling and 4K video. This drive is perfect for traveling, it is fast, small size, reliable. Perfect to back up large files.

After running out of room on all my other external HD's, I bought this because of its capacity. It is amazingly small and the price was reasonable. Very glad I bought it.

Bought this for my son's X-Box because the game's 500GB was used up in less than a year. Super easy to connect via USB port and the small profile sits behind the X-Box out of sight. I was going to buy the green X-Box storage unit, but I now have twice the storage for less $$$.

This is just what I needed... it was so easy to connect this to my laptop... so for ease of comfort I have to say 10 plus.. and it's fast I mean really fast.

I purchased this external drive for use on my new Xbox One X. Not only is the additional 4TB of storage great to have but this USB 3.0 drive does not require an external power sorce to turn it on while others do. I will be buying another one when I need the additional storage.

I have multiple WD external drives and will pick one up if I see one at a good price - this was about the price of a previous 2TB purchase so happy about that - with increasing file sizes (pics, videos, etc) I always seem to be on the lookout for additional back-up storage.

I bought this specifically for the purpose of expanding my storage space. I quickly ran into storage problems with my PS4 and had to keep deleting to make space. Sony finally allowed for external hard drive support and this has been working phenomenally. I also got it when it was on sale which was just icing on the cake. If you need to expand the storage of your PS4 this series of hard drives are compact and easy to use.

Bought this to use with my other Western Digital HD for my Xbox One X. Got this for $100, which seemed like a good deal to me. HD is so small and sleek. Love it and transfer speeds seem fast enough. On my way to pick up my Xbox One X tonight with my 9 TB of external storage.

Great price and easy installation. This Hard Drive was installed to an imac. Many times products that are not Apple are difficult to install or just won't work. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked on the first try.

I purchased this drive for use an external HDD with my Nvidia shield. I was concerned that the lack of SSD might prove too slow, but the tested read/write speeds are fine and seem to be comparable to the internal drive that comes with the device. The reason I've given it 4 rather than 5 stars is that occasionally when set as an external (rather than expandable) drive, the drive will shut off and it takes a bit for it to wake/be recognized by the shield.

What a great deal! 4 TB and it's pretty portable too! It's the size/weight of the 1 TB from a few years ago, very mobile. Bring everything with your laptop wherever you go!

I've never had an issue with a WD drive. They are easy to setup and use with any system, and are fast and reliable. Add in a reasonable price tag and this is a no-brainer for backup or extra storage space.

Western Digital (WD) is my go to risible HD when I want quick and easy access to my data. It connects easily to any PC or gaming system at home. I fully recommend anyone to get this or any WD hard drive for consumer use.

Great price, size and function all in one. I use for my Plex server media storage and works great. I always use WD for storage and I'm sure to have many years service out of it.

This thing is amazing for anybody wanting to expand storage on their newer gaming consoles. It’ll allow you to store PS5 and Xbox Series games on it.

I used this hdd to augment the space on my Xbox One X. I was able to just plug it in to an open usb slot on the back of the console, and after a brief fomat (was auto prompted to do so), I was ready to transfer my current library of games over within a number of minutes.

I purchased the hard drive for my Xbox One. I now have all my games stored on it, and I haven’t noticed any issues. Now, I should have plenty of space to add more games in the future. I highly recommend it for those looking to add storage space to their video game systems.

I bought this for when I do data recovery I have something that is big enough to handle multiple drives. It works great for transferring data. It would also be great if you needed something to back your computer up to.
