Great for backups
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This little BIG drive is a must for shutterbugs and video nuts. 4TB of storage than can fit into a pocket (though I don't recommend putting it there). But you can backup multiple computers, use it for time machine, or just plain copy everything from your hard drive with lots of room to spare. Maybe even hook it your xbox for lots of game downloads. Got it on sale, cheapest $$$/GB I have ever seen. No complaints.

Its being used to backup my photo collection. Overall its exactly what I needed. I gave it four stars because of the very short cable that comes with the drive. (1ft)

Great external hard drive

The hard drive I bought has 4 TB of storage, meaning I will probably never run out of space on it. It is big enough that I do not forget it or lose it anywhere, but is not large enough that it is a pain to carry around. I had to reformat it so I could use it on both my Asus and MacBook, but other than that, it has been perfect.

Great for the Xbox One!

It worked great but as most people know these next-gen consoles play games that are very large in size, about 60-80GB each. I discovered this WD 4TB External HDD on sale and have enjoyed it ever since. The data transfer rates are awesome with the use of the USB 3.0. After all my games were transferred, I still have more than half of my storage available. Need some more games to help that out.
