WD - Elements 2TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive is a nice little hard drive at a great price.

I chose the 2TB WD Elements external hard drive, becasue it was recommended as additional storage for the new DVR+ that I purchased to record TV shows off an on roof antenna. It is very compact and matches well in size with the other components of the DVR setup. It will hold all the recorded programs I need for the week.

I was very much confused between WD Ultra & WD Elements then i went through reviews & finally decided to purchase this one ie WD Elements & needless to say that it is Compaqe, fast & reliable above all price is reliable... I highly recommended this product.

Great product for use in a Tablo (or any live TV recording dvr for that matter I would assume). It's very fast, compact, and durable. Highly recommended.

Since xbox one announced backwards compatibility I need external hard drive to add some free 360 games. this hard drive is excellent and it responds to xbox one. this can be used as back up storage for PS4 not external storage.

I love it, it is about the size of a very full wallet & is 2tb!

Nice and compact. Plug and play. Replaced a Seagate external hard drive that failed with backups on it that were gone forever. Fortunately, I have other external hard drives, including a WD, with backups on that have never failed. The WD Elements is less than 1/4 the size of the others. Amazingly slim profile.

Got this to expand the storage on my xbox one and so far it's been great

I have 2 of these hard drives that I use connected to Channel Master DVR's They are on all the time and I haven't had any problems. Nice compact design and powered by USB cable. I would buy again if I needed another portable hard drive.

I don't know why, my Mac, as many other, eject some external hard drives whenever it likes. This problem doesn't seem to affect WD Elements hard drives, this is already the second I buy. It works great to keep TimeMachine running, and backing up files in general. It is also very quiet. It is not the fastest hard drive, so I wouldn't recommend it for other more intensive use. Still it's far better than any USB 2 HD!

For the first time, I had purchased a laptop, on which I store a lot of precious family photos and some sensitive data. I needed a back-up drive. A friend recommended this one and I found a good deal on it at Best Buy. It gives me comfort knowing that if something happens to my computer, the stored photos and data will not be lost. This model is a nice small size, light, and easy to use - which is saying a lot because I am not very tech-savvy, and it offers a ton of back-up capacity.

If you are looking for simple portable device to store your files to travel with you guys,go nowhere else than this device. It has made life easy for me as I travel. Get it and you'll never regret spending your money.

So far so good! I've put about 120,000 MP3 songs and titles on it so far and it barely shows used storage! I am waiting for a gig to see how it holds up using it for 4 to 6 hours straight! ;-)

I've used these hard drives as back-up for our computers and they work great. Since they are each 2TB, we will have plenty of room for years of back-up.

I was very surprised at how small this external hard drive is. It's amazing! I bought this for my DVR as extra storage.

Accidentally bent the pins on my old hard drive and decided on a replacement even though I got the old one working. Good read and write speed and no problems thus far. Great for people who want to back up a lot of music, movies, comics, pictures, etc.

Very user friendly. Works great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something like it.
