Western digital make really good hard drives. This gold drive is no exception. In fact, its one of the most reliable and safest hard drives you can buy. it comes with a 5 year manufactures warranty should anything go wrong. I have 5 of these drives and they are really fast up to 180mbs write speed and.

This drive reminds mind past Western Digital Dual CPU drives with new parallel writing heads at 7,200 RPMS really up the game. This proves what great speeds are possible if manufactures of Hard Drive focus on IDE controller on drive and let BIOS manufacture focus on emulation support like RAID, SAS and SCSI emulation. Once the core IDE controller is of good quality you get great performance no matter which computer it goes in. Looking forward to future 10TB HDD Quad CPU with parallel writing heads from Western Digital.
