Love the 2TB capacity. Easy USB 3.0 interface with a speedy data transfer rate.

My new 2TB external hard drive is serving my greatest need, because I have a 1TB PC internal drive. It will help me to backup lots of materials and files for which I will never have to worry about loosing.

My wife and I enjoy taking pictures and saving them for future viewing. I purchase this 2 tb hard drive to store them on. We have a new grandson and a new great grandson so I wanted plenty of storage to capture both of them growing up. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this hard drive because of the amount of space and the compatibility with PC and MAC. It works great and I got the product on sale which is even better.

Western Digital has always been reliable in my experience with their external drives. It works quickly as soon as I connect it to my usb inputs. It works well with my blu-ray player for music, pictures and videos. I've had no problems at all with this drive.

I needed to upgrade from storing on flash drives and this was a great option and reasonably priced. I transferred data from my 3 16GB flash drives and still have so much free space I may never use it all. There isn't any lag time in accessing the drive.

This drive has been an excellent piece of equipment to add to my PC arsenal. Setup was a breeze and plenty of storage space for backing up all my important files, videos, music and digital photos. Fast USB 3.0 interface and backed up about 500 gigs of stuff in no time. I love the continuous monitoring so I don't have to schedule backups, it does it automatically when ever I change or add a file. Just wish it had syncing ability, but there is probably software I can install to do that job. Great drive for $99 on clearance!

This is now my main hard drive for my xbox one. It actually loads and plays games faster than the internal drive, and it's tons of space. Will pick up another one next year when the DVR capability hits the Xbox 1.

This is not my first WD- My Book. I use them for long term file storage. I don't worry about losing files saved to our offsite server backup that would in time be lost due to the retention policies. Great price.

I'm using the hard drive as a screen for my dish satellite receiver. It is relatively easy to set up and program to record. The play back quality is excellent.

Purchased this to transfer recorded shows from a Dish VIP722 to a Dish Hopper and it worked perfectly. File transfer is fairly quick and painless and it's still attached to the Hopper as auxiliary storage.

I transferred DVR materials onto this drive as well as backing up three separate computers I utilize for work. With the super fast USB connection, my backups have been cut at least in half if not greater.

I used this hard drive for my nintendo Wii U and it synched up perfectly and gives me plenty of room for my downloads.

It is a great backup system which automatically backs up based on the schedule that I selected. No more worries about whether or not everything is backed up. Very easy to use and easy to access my files.

Ran out of room to record on my Dish receiver DVR and bought this to be able to record and save more programs. Works great and was so easy to set up.

Great value for the money. Easy set up. Slightly confusing from the installation and subsequent apps/utilities. The password protect is too strict and cannot be retrieved if forgotten.
