Lots of space plus security

The only thing I would have preferred is a power switch on the back to cycle the drive after "safe removal." Not hugely problematic though.

When using Windows 7 Backup and Restore with a 2.5TB or 3.0TB drive, the backup fails with an error code of (0x8078002A). I have to call WD Support for help.

WD is a great brand with great PC gear. This unit gives me high capacity and dependable operation with any OS that I choose to link it with.

Have used them almost everyday for about a month now with no problem. However, there is a low whirling sound inside the drives that bothered me a bit. Hope it is not caused by something loose inside. Time will tell. As of now, it is working as expected.

WD 3 TB Hard Drive -

I do prefer to set aside a time to back up the files on my computer all on my own instead of relying on an automatic backup; but that's just me; and I don't leave it connected to my computer full time. WD My Book is an Awesome External Drive

Great for xbox one

Works like you would expect, set up is super easy. Bad part is the drive must be formated for the xbox so you can not set up this to use with a pc at the same time. It's a Microsoft thing. Darn them. You can not even partition it to use half and half.
