Great price for 3T external drive.

Needed flexibility of AC power instead of just USB powered external hard drive for potential use on Dish Network system and to further avoid multiple smaller external drives for backup of computers. Larger size for tabletop use was not an issue but would be a consideration if space is an issue.

I bought this since my new router has support for a USB 3.0 storage connection, which allows my to use the software that is built into the router, foot storage management and shares. The speed is a huge improvement over the 10/100/1000 connection speed of my other NAS. - C.A.

I bought this WD external hard drive to use as a NAS. The setup was very easy and performance has been excellent. It is always better to set up a new HD before you lose your current HD and all your files. Do it now and rest easier.

Great buy for the Xbox One
