Setup and installation was easy. Plenty of storage space

Replaces a Toshiba 3TB drive that never worked, Don't know why I didn't just buy WD in the first place - I have 2 other WD external drives and they all work fine. Setup was easy, and I am much more confident about all my files with the WD quality.

Was looking for an external for my Xbox one this is the one I decided on. Been working really well had no problem hooking it up . The Xbox 1 connected great. Was thinking of purchasing another.

I bought this for my xbox one. I was running out of storage and needed to expand. I plugged it in and the Xbox did the rest. Pretty strait forward. One usb 3 port and needs to be plugged into power. Great general use hard drive.

I like the product itself. The speeds are quite good under most circumstances. It seems fastest in my situation at least sending medium sized single files, let's say around 7-10 GBs, to the external drive. Sending files to the SSD from the external drive seems slower for some reason. Sending multiple small files to another hard drive is the slowest. But the speeds are better than I expected. But as far as the software the comes with the drive, the SmartWare software I was able to install. The other two programs, Security and Drive Utilities, I wasn't even able to install. The only thing I can say is that if you have the same problems installing them as I did, unless your a programmer, good luck installing them. And from what I've read during my research on the problem, I don't seem to be the only one who has had that problem. I haven't found any solutions that worked for me on the Western Digital web site or on the internet either for that matter. But the product itself is good. I'm happy with it.

This is a great drive for a great price. I ended up buying 2 of them with the price drop and have been pleased with the performance. The are relatively small and I had no compatibility issues connecting to my iMac.

I bought this for my girlfriend's daughter, as she needed something much larger for school. The price on it was crazy good, as it was under $110 on sale. I have one of these myself, and it was worth the price.

This external hard drive by WD was easy to connect and setup. Was able to backup my files from the laptop and desktop in less than an hour. Ample storage for my present and future needs, Good product. Good value.

I purchased this drive with the intent to expand my XBOX One storage. I was able to easily plug it in and format it for my purposes. It runs very well and very quiet. I can confidently recommend this product!

Great hard drive. Vast storage space for all types of files. The USB 3.0 is very fast. It is a great functional external hard drive and cosmetically pleasing to the eye. Great product, great price.

Bought it for my xbox one to expand my storage. Works perfectly and was simple to install. Very easy to move games over and have new games stored.

This was a purchase for my grandson. He wanted to have an additional storage for his gaming items. This was very reasonable in cost and he found it very easy to set up and use immediately.

3 TB of space, what more do you need?! Thing is fast with USB 3.0 and with 3000 GB of space, I have the chance to back up just about anything for quite a while now. Great buy!

Picked this up to extend my memory for my XB1, it plugged right into the USB and and after formatting it has worked like a charm. Games even play off it, best investment I could make!

External hard drive at a great price with plenty of storage space for game saves, game downloads, photos, mp3's, files, etc. it's fast and easy to install, pretty much plug and play.

Setup was easy, the unit worked out of the box as expected. Allows me access my backup files when I wanted and to also storage other files to keep them off my SSD boot drive.

I bought this to add much needed memory to my Xbox One. All game data has been moved to it and there are no heat / reading issues. I definitely recommend this external drive.

Easy to use external hard drive with lots of space. I use this as portable CAD file storage for my 64-bit windows workstations; no complaints!! Reasonably priced too.
