    This is a great hard drive to use for pictures as it is a large 3 TB HD. I have loads of pictures that span years and it is very important for me to back them up to a hard drive that will last.

    My old network drive started acting up after 5 years. I went from network to USB 3.0 and installed the auto back up. I told it to back up one directory and I fire it off once a day . No complaints on software that came with the unit either..

    Great product, very fast data transfer. Retrieval is fast and copying your files and picture is reliable , to put it simply.You will never have to worry about losing your data again.

    This drive is used for a backup drive. It is only a 5400 RPM drive so I would not recommend it for daily access.

    I did a lot of research before buying this product. So far it has done what it was suppose to do. I have not found any problems so far that the other reviews have mentioned. However, I am not using the software that came with the program.
