Something strange

I setup the drive for backup. It would backup for a while then my laptop crashed dead. Only way I could restart my laptop was to unplug the WD drive. On vacation now, but will check blogs to see if anybody else has had this problem. Any time I plug the WD drive in, the laptop would crash within 20 mins. oh well
