Fantastic deal at $89.99. Plenty of storage for my MP3s and digital photos. Highly recommend using 3.0 connection for faster transfer speeds. Software is simple to install and use.

This is the second WD external drive I have owned. My fist was a 1T that worked flawlessly for many years. Still works, just out grew it. I would recommend WD products to anyone.

This drive holds a ton of files and has a great price. It's usb 3.0 but works with usb 2.0.

WD products are the best, most reliable hard drives on the market. I have never had an issue with one...I have however, had multiple failures with other brands.

I use my purchase to download and save shows and movies from Dish Satellite. I really appreciate that it holds so much.

This is great if you have the 500GB xbox one, and need to upgrade the storage space

I have bought at least 40 of these drives over the last few years (So different generations). I stick with them because they have been some of the most reliable and easy to work with for our video (dual backup) needs.

They work great. I give them a pretty good workout with my music and videos and photos. I had the previous one for nearly 8 years before it quit working.

I bought this hard drive as an expansion drive on my Xbox one and it is perfect for that use, and it cost the same price as a 2tb hdd that was more portable.

Perhaps I did not read, but I bought this for a Sony Vaio laptop and was trying to transfer files from the laptop to my MacBook and vice versa. A MacBook can only read files, but not do anything else. After this, I did some research and that's how it is because of a different format. I would have to reformat the drive to be able to use it for the MacBook but that would delete the files already in it. Guess that's what happens when you don't research first before you buy. Other than that, the drive works great with fast read/write speeds. I l also like the design and portability.

Bought this item for my Xbox one. Already had about 90 percent of memory used on the console and this completely saved me from having to delete games off my systems hard drive. The set up was quick and it didn't take long at all to transfer all of my games.
