Tough unit great value

It requires an electrical outlet to be plugged into. Working great so far!

Then the power was trying to power up and turned off and tried another power cord and halfway powers up and turns off. Hope I’m not losing all of my data I spent a day transferring over. For this expensive HD I would expect a lot better. Last time I purchase a WD hard drive. Best Buy only has a 45 day return policy. So now I will be dealing with WD. Waste of time and money.

Fast performance

I love that you can swap out hard drives for when you fill up a disk! You have three different RAID options including RAID 0, RAID 1, and using the two drives separate from each other to use the full 12tb (two 6tb drives). Great Product!

A major let down.

I constantly have to unmount and remount the drive and run diagnostics on it. Customer support from WD is almost non-existent. Very disappointing and frustrating, both in the product and in Best Buy staff's unfamiliarity with it or the conflicts it has with Apple products.
