Seamless Backup

It was purchased to work with Time Machine on my iMac and has performed seamlessly (and more quietly!) since it was installed. As it is specifically designed and formatted to work with Mac operating systems, installation was a breeze without the necessity of installing the included software.

Defective unit with great customer service

The customer service from WD was fantastic. Near real time email responses and positive support. Ultimately WD told me the unit was defective and to return it... because it was defective I decided to go with a different company after the return, but the customer service was good enough to bring me back to WD at some future point.
