Overall, this product meets the requirements for a good size backup drive. It is fairly simple to set up. It is slow backing up over the network comparing it to a drive directly connected to your machine. It is a little cumbersome to manage folders the way I like to manage them. It's a pretty good deal for the price and certainly provides ample space to backup all your files, you just have to make sure you have the time to get the first backup. Multiple device interface isn't the most user friendly system on the planet but not a deal breaker by any stretch. It seems to have a problem when you disconnect from it after using it outside your network and I have had to reboot the drive a couple of times after this type of use. All in all, knowing what I know now, I would definitely buy it again though.

Great HD so far. Only had it for about a week so hopefully it holds up. I bought it to use as an external HD for my Xbox 1. Setup was quick and painless.

Great to have my own Cloud with more security and no fees.

WD My Cloud is an inexpensive way to storage the whole house can use. Also, it's faster than USB 3.0. The software from WD is not perfect and can be a little confusing. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

It is a good way to store your files, pictures and movies.

I bought this for my parents - who are not very computer savvy. They woory about running out of room on their laptop for family pictures. I set this up so that their "My Pictures" folder is right on it, completely transparent to them. They can also access all their files on the road with their tablet. They love it and I doubt they will ever fill it up.

Product works great and was easy to set up. It took about 5 min. to get the email to setup my password but every thing else went really smooth.

I have 5 of these devices and they are easy to set up and easy to attach computers too so you can back up and share data and files. I love WD!!

We use it as a dump for photos and video's from our phones. This keeps our phones storage ready and keeps everything safe, secure easy to get to.

There was a bit of a learning curve for using this cloud, but worth every bit. It is so easy to access within my home and away.

Seems to work well, you can set up folders for other users/family members. Takes a little time to figure out but not hard. Took a longtime to fully back up computer. Remember too despite name not really a cloud but more of an external hard drive accessible via wi-fi

I'm using it to store my pictures and videos. It's a little on the slower side uploading but reviewing my files and streaming videos has been great. Even streaming from my work network was easy and fast.

I bought this for the purpose of backing up both of my personal computers, phone, tablet, and my significant other's data as well. I like that it can be plugged into the router and mapped directly to the computer much like a server, and I like that it has tons of space for me to back everything up. The only downside to this device is that the USB 3.0 is only for connection to mobile devices and media players. My laptop has a USB 3.0 port so I mistakenly assumed that I would be able to connect this to my laptop and boost the speed at which my files were moved between the two. I was wrong, but it's my own fault for not checking. I'm happy with the product though, aside from that one minor mistake on my part.

A lot to read on how to use this drive to best advantage. Easy setup and ran out of box 1st time. Downloaded support items with no problem.

this device is great. Uses gigabyte Ethernet speed, so is nice and fast transferring data or backing up files. Included software is good. Particularly like the option of backing up files automatically, so whenever you save a file to the backed up folder (like your document folder) it saves it to the backup drive as well!

Is very good and easy. Not problem in configuration

This is a great product for the price. It works with all computers and phones. I am self employed and I am able to store all of my work and personal files on this devise and I can access from from anywhere. I am able to backup my photos and music from my computer and I can access them on my iPhone without having to load them on my phone.
