I've had good and bad luck with regard to the wireless hard drives. 90% of the time they work great. The other time I've had problems downloading or electrical spikes ruining the downloaded info. Suggest not to keep it plugged in during storms or have it on a battery back up.

Easy to setup and easy to keep all your media on. Like to keep my laptop free of media.

It is a good choice. I recommend it. The only issue with me that there is a lot of noise coming from the device. I don't know if this is ok or not. Also I am trying to know how can I assign external IP to access from any place. If anybody figured this out, please let me know.

I bought this item to archive my photos and other documents so that I can access them when I travel.

Being able to store my entire movie library and access them from anywhere with the myCloud app is amazing.

This is a good way to backup your files without having to subscribe to an online service. I'd have given it five stars except that it's not really easy to find the device on the network and map a drive to it. I figured it our but it took some time. Good value.

Use this as a media server. So far, no complaints. I can stream video, music, and pictures to all my devices.

This product is designed to be simple and straightforward to operate; unfortunately, it ends up being anything but. I won't go into the history of problems this product has had DATING BACK TO 2013 (Google is definitely your friend here). Instead, I'll just say that I went away for a week, and returned to find the product completely unresponsive to the web application. I let it sit for an additional two days with no change, and now I am looking at a backup device that I can't access, much less back up data to. If you decide to buy this device, I STRONGLY suggest you get something else to serve as a backup for your important data. The question below is "I would recommend this to a friend". Oh, how I wish that the available responses were "Yes," "No," and "Oh H*** no."

Bought this as I try consolidate various storage devices (that inevitably break at some stage, or misplaced) and was under the impression it was kind of plug and play, bit of a set up but yet easy for a moron like me. Seem I am too big a moron, I haven't figured proper use out yet, I managed to back up two machines on two such devices, can see it took the space on the memory but can access. Meaning, redo set up and take the effort to find out how it works...This I don't like, it muts be plug n play for me. I have reasonable knowledge of setting up devices, pretty much know the basics. So, I have no clue how the device performs, TBC

Remarkably fast access to files with an internet connection. Only negative I have is that I tried to transfer 4TB worth of files with difficulty. The software does not support transferring sub folders. It took me a few weeks to get my files over. No complaints afterwards.

The storage device works as advertised and with the proper attention can be configured quite quickly.
