Found out a lot of people had the same problem but I purchased anyway maybe it might work for me nope same problem. So I return the product for a full refund but hey it might work for you.

Throw your money away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this NAS device. It worked about 2 months. I have 2TB of information on it. Been on the phone with WD for more than 40 hour, not one out of 20 customer service reps could fix it. It disconnects from the IP address and won't reconnect until you reboot it, if you are fortunate. This purchase is the worst waste of my money in a lifetime. If you want to purchase anything with WD on it, give your money to charity, relieve yourself of the frustrations and by a different product.

Lost all my files after 4 hours of use

Had this piece of garbage for 4 hours before it went offline and wouldn’t come back online. Called “tech support”... what a joke! Their idea of troubleshooting was to make sure it was plugged in. After several calls and incompetent reps I was told to do a soft reset, now the device won’t even power on and all my files are gone. Their response.... to pay for data recovery and they send me another worthless piece of crap! Spare yourself the headache, DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

Very Slow and Stopped Supporting for Plex

WD advertised support for this app so I thought it would be a great cheaper option. From the start My Cloud Home was incredibly slow, both downloading and uploading. Then my Plex app stopped working and that was the sole reason I bought this. WD advertised on the box and website they supported Plex, then they told no one their support for it ended a while ago. I wasted a week working on this to find a fix just to discover my issue was not Plex related but WD related. A year after buying this, it's now a brick.
