Love it! I have access to all my home videos, pictures, file everything at any time and ot backs ups all my pictures on my tablet and phone.

Overall, a good way to backup my pictures from my iphone, but it is a bit misleading calling it "cloud"

I love this poduct because it doesn’t have to travel with me. I leave it at home and I can be 1000 miles away and still get files from the device. I don’t know how I was doing life without this device. Also I love that it can be used with a PC and Apple computer. My husband and I can backup all our important files and keep it organized all in one place together. I highly recommend!

Good device. Fairly easy to set-up. Security is a main concern; not sure how well it is. A bit slow on transfer of data through wifi set-up. Not sure about on the road access yet; not tried.

I purchased this because I needed a bigger cloud drive for my videos and returned it after I brought it home and found out that you can't mount a share to it. It is all web-based and you must go to the WD website to access anything on it. You can't even go to https://xx.xx.xx.xx, where xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of your cloud drive, so not sure why they would even make such a unit. I ended up returning it and buying the WD - My Cloud EX2 Ultra 16TB 2-bay External Network Storage instead.

Installed the 16 TB drive very quickly. Just plugged it in to power and the router and it was ready to go. Have all of our phones, laptops, and cloud storage backed up to the device. Take great comfort in knowing the backups are in one place.

Works on all 5 of my iphones. Backs up pictures when connected to wifi. Wish it had options to back up other files like pdf., .doc from phone. good back up for iMac.

Missing some features that the rep stated that it had but it does what it says.

Time will tell how effective this drive is. It seems to run backup fine but I had a devil of a time getting it to accept drag and drop files from other sources. Many hours spent with customer support for Western Digital.

As someone who is not super tech savvy, the setup and merging of all files and devices couldn't have been made easier. Enough storage to future proof myself for the foreseeable future.

I'm using this to both back up files from my PC as well as to store a large audio collection, and it works well. Ran into a little bit of a problem getting it set up, but I had no trouble reaching technical support by phone, and they had me fixed up and going within 10 minutes, so kudos to the support techs. Remember that this is not a hard drive on your computer but rather a hard drive accessible on your network, so transfer speeds are slower, especially if, like in my case, your computer connects to your home network wirelessly. So running backup software takes longer than if you are backing up, say, between two hard drives on your computer. So I set it to back up and then go have dinner or watch a football game. Overall, this is doing just what I wanted it to do. Very pleased.

This is an upgrade to my 8gb one, easy to install, use and share my own links.

So far so good, sometimes loading time is slow. Overall is acceptable

This device is not NAS and does not work with Mac OS Catalina. Western Digital has known for months about the Catalina and they still have not fixed their software. WD customer service is horrible. Do Not Waste Time Or Money.
