This external hard drive is Great, it holds 1TB and is about the size of a cell phone so I can take it with me. The best part about it is that the price is about the same or cheaper than a smaller USB flash drive. If I ever need another storage device, I'll buy another one of these.

I bought the drives to back up family photos and when done i had more space left over so I backed up the family movies. I purchased two drive so i had a primary and backup. The drives connected to my Mac and windows computer without any issues. They were fast and easily storable in the safe for life long protection.

I bought the passport because of the price and Western Digital name. I was please with ease of use of transfering my files. I would definitely purchase it for the price because of the quality of storage.

I love the size of this passport it's not too big or too small. The 1TB holds all the music and movies I need, with still room to put even more stuff. It's great for travel because it isn't bulky and simply easier to move things around with it. Easy hook up and no problems with transferring files over to it.

Unbox, plug into USB port, then follow easy and clear WD instructions for setting up partition(s) and volumes based on your particular needs. Following setup had my Win10 system and data cloned in @ one hour. Depending on your sophistication, would suggest looking into relatively inexpensive (sometimes free versions will work fine) software online that will help create disk configurations for more complex hard drive needs, e.g. Paragon, Macrium, etc.

This is so light that I just keep it in my laptop bag. Great when I have to move large files. I haven't had to move a 1TB file yet! I'll upgrade rating to five stars after using it for a few years.

This external hard drive is perfect for my needs with 1 TB of memory in a very compact size. I don't even have to worry about a power source as it just plugs into a USB port on my laptop. Perfect to take on business trips. I'm almost happy I dropped my old external hard drive on its head!

I needed an external hard drive to transfer all my documents to my new computer, and I am happy to have this one handy if I ever need it now. It works for both PCs and Macs. I haven't had any problems with it so far...its reliable, has tons of storage, and very easy to use!

This is exactly what I needed. It's small, doesn't take up much space, but holds a lot of data.

This was the hard drive recommended by the Geek Squad. It was less expensive than some of the others. It was purchased to download everything from my mom's old computer, rather than transferring everything to her new computer. Since that is all we are using it for, I don't notice any difference between this Western Digital 1TB My Passport Ultra hard drive and my Toshiba or Seagate hard drives. Seems like a good hard drive.
