I picked this up to transfer data from my very old laptop to my new HP Envy. I will also be using it as a backup. Really like the bright color!

I can't believe how small and cheap these external drives have gotten lately. This one was on sale and I use it to backup 2 different laptops.

It works exactly as it's supposed to. It took me a moment to figure out how to get around the "convenience" features, but it wasn't difficult.

I went online to see how this device works. Everything is written in a strange geek language. I have used data backup devices before without any difficulties. I'll be heading to BestBuy in the new year to see how this device works. Hope it is simple.

I had trouble finding how to drag my records to the passport but when I went to the store, the Geek Squad showed me how to do it. We lost some files because we didn't do this earlier and the computer crashed. Everyone should think about an external hard drivel

Initially bought to back up my PS4 and will be using to store all my photos. Love Western Digital drives because they are so reliable.
