Works well with M-Go on 2015 Samsung 55JS8500 TV

WD ext hard drive included with the TV purchase

It arrived pre loaded with 10 movies; however, no instructions were provided. Turns out it required a subscription to a "go movies" to access those movies and then a charge to watch them. It was free for us and can still be utilized to hold other movies or pictures.

I was like WTF is that, she told me it comes with a couple of movies. The movies look awesome just not kind of movies. It would of been nice if it was the wd passport that comes with like 10movies. But hey its free so can't complain about it.

Need to sign up with M Go to unlock movies

What they didn't tell me and I didn't see written in any of the documentation was that in order to watch the preloaded movies, one must sign up with M Go. I don't have a problem doing that, it simply wasn't explained anywhere that I could see. Had to call.

Has good potential

I have it connected but haven't been able figure out how to download movies/shows to it yet. From everything I read it almost seems that you need to connect it to a computer to download things but I'm still unsure. Directions are not clear and the mfg website isn't helpful either. I plan on looking more into it because this device could be helpful to allow my child to play movies as we travel.
