This external memory bank drive is super fast and it has so much space able to store all my photos videos iPhone backups and I only used 10 percent of the space. Super pleased with how fast it saves onto the drive and how easy and fast it accesses it

I bought this to back up my Mac mini before I updated to the new OS. When I attempted to back it up, I could not without changing the format of the hard drive to match the old OS. I didn't want to do that since I also wanted to use it after I updated. So I saved my most important files to a flash drive first, then updated. One last step before I could perform the backup, it told me I needed to erase the back up drive before it could do the back up. Thankfully someone else had addressed this online and I was able to read how to proceed. It was a convoluted process, but I finally got there. The back up was quick and painless once I finally got it done. I like the look of the hard drive. It is thin and doesn't take up much room beside my mini.

I’m using this with my MacBook Pro as the Time Machine drive and it works great. Runs quiet and cool. Very portable.

Got this as to make more storage for my new 24" iMac , love it because it will keep all my files stored and not slow down my machine. Nice compact size, fits perfect under my iMac, easy transporting files to it.

This has been a welcomed addition to my iMac and is peace of mind.

Competitive price. Appreciated the adaptors that work with the new apple computers. Easy to use. The color options allows me to assign different external drives to different systems in the home.

A little more complicated to set up than its predecessor but great storage for a small price. There are 2 for my computer and I alternate using them for back up, keeping one in the bank box so I am not paying for cloud storage. Light weight and small enough for travel

This Western Digital 2T external hard drive for Mac is superb! It is fast, smooth, and remains cool - never heats up regardless of the load of the file transfer. The drive is light weight and low profile. Solid and stable USB connection. This is reliable hardware for occasional backup or full Apple Mac Time Machine backup. You should feel comfortable purchasing this item. *Remember, it is formatted for Mac, not Windows. My Best Buy cost was less expensive than Amazon. Picked it up the same day I requested it.

It's compact, nice look and feel, huge storage capacity and made for Mac. Works right out of the box and WD quality - what more can I say. Perfect accessary for my needs!

Great portable size, 2tb is plenty of storage for about 500-1000 movies depending on quality or just backing up all your data and taking it places without a cloud option to stream or access reliably. I use this on my 2021 MacBook Air and it backed up about 100gb in 20 minutes, I was worried it would be slow and should have spent more on a SSD version but this certainly impressed and will do all I need for typical backup and data transfer from Windows to Mac OS. (Be sure to format as ExFat file system so both computers can recognize data)
