I use this for business purposes and just to have extra space for my laptop. Slim profile with built in USB makes for a perfect on the go drive. Only personal gripe is that I wish the cord was just an inch or two longer, although it doesn’t really affect how use it today. Definitely recommend!

Yes, it might cause a little more than your typical mechanical drives but remember solid-state drives are more reliable and fast. Don't waste your time on other drives and get yourself the WD- My Passport drive for on the go projects.

And I love that it has the USB cable as a permanent attachment, and the cable can be stored away in the cutout on the side of the unit - great idea!

I recently purchased a laptop with an 125 GB SSD so this was a great way to expand the available GB. It also comes with a USB 3.0 cord built in, so no worries of misplacing the cord.
