This drive is so fast. I love it’s compact size and durability. Makes traveling and picture downloads so easy. I highly recommend this drive.

I got this to use with my laptop for gaming needs that I had and didn’t want to max out my internal SSD. I have had no error or corruption issues with it, it’s really small and lightweight which is nice. Its not that bad looking either I suppose. I noticed It does get pretty hot when downloading larger files with the usb-c, I don’t know if that’s normal for these but it was much cooler under steadier use or downloads. Overall I’m happy with it and would recommend this product especially If it’s on sale you can’t beat getting a good low priced SSD. I gave a 4 star for the heat levels it hits and the really small usb chord it came with other, then that awesome !

Small, portable, easy to use, and extremely fast! Highly recommended to anyone needed to rip files off of something before anyone notices, or needed to save things on a device that won't break easily if dropped like a traditional hard drive. In all seriousness it is a great little device.

Great value and fast SSD. Purchased one for my Xbox One S. Games like GTA V load with half the speed versus the internal drive or external usb 3.0 HDD. I also moved apps like Netflix over to the SSD...blazing fast launches! If you want the benefits of faster load times for data heavy games, this is a great value and very fast. I also purchased a 256GB SDD version also to use as a dedicated Disk Cache for Adobe After Effects. It has cut back render times significantly. I recommend this drive not only for the value but especially if you have USBC on your edit station. Perfect for After Effects users.

This SSD is very portable and fast. The only knock is that the cable is very short that come with the hard drive. needs to be at least 3 ft. long

Purchased the drive to troubleshoot a performance issue on an older Mac Mini. The system is mostly used for basic network activity, social media, email, home budget software, etc. The system got to be painfully slow and I bought the WD to isolate the problem and repair costs for the discovered problem or saving up for a newer system. The drive has worked so well that it’s being used to boot and run the system and will power it for the foreseeable future. Instead of a new internal drive, a new sata cable and some time to to effect the repairs and rebuild, the system is running like it did when we first got it. Couldn’t be happier short of buying much newer macs.

I love this little drive. It has really fast read and write speeds and it's super small. It fits well in all of my bags, it's portable, and it comes with a small adapter from USB-C to USB so that I am able to use either USB-C to USB-C or USB to USB-C.

My wife was changing jobs and we wanted to copy everything off her work computer and put in this device. It worked perfectly and was pretty snappy for a USB drive in my opinion. It is super portable and fits nicely in her purse and does not weigh much at all.

I have had no problem with this gizmo. The geek who recommended it was very helpful. I would like to think that I am going to get years off service from it. Right now, I am using it and it is not failing me as far as I can determine. That makes it seem like we are going to have a good relationship.

Excellent product good size, fast and aceptable capacity. The cable is short.

On the pro side, this small form factor portable 500 MB external SSD USB 3.1 type drive has a nice looking case. The C-type USB cable has a C-type to standard USB adapter on the other end. On the con side, the USB cable is rather short. The metallic embelishment, though pleasant to the eye could be a negative when dropped to often. overall, a thumbs up after a couple of months of use
