These are small, fast, and easy on the pocket-book. Can't go wrong with these drives. Whenever I need a portable drive, this is my 'go to' drive. They come in larger capacities, but these 1TB drives are just so bullet-proof, that I prefer to stick with them. We purchase many of these regularly at the office for backup purposes for our engineers and they just seem to work without issue, so I can't imagine getting any other brand/capacity of external hard drive.

The hard drive is easy to set up and would comfortably meet the needs of all home users. In have over a thousand family photographs stored on mine.

I wanted a small external hard drive to use as a back up for my computer. This Western Digital hard drive was just exactly what I wanted. I have always had good luck with Western Digital products.

My husband bought this for storage while he's deployed. He loves that it's small and portable as opposed to a large bulky one that he had before that had to be plugged in. Easy to use and connect.

The unit is small for a 1TB capacity. Installed and ran fine on Win 7 Pro and continues to perform well on Win 10. Software provided is OK but I use Win backup. I'd rate it 5 stars if it was $15-20 cheaper. No plan to use cloud storage.

Got this with a new laptop with a 256GB SSD. It's easy to use and works great. It's a great size and shape and seems solid. I'm not using the apps that came on it, soI can't comment on them.

Product has plenty of memory and connects easily using either USB 2.0 or 3.0, so it will work with older devices. Compact size is a plus - easy to transport. Got it on sale at Best Buy.

The Western Digital Passport 1tb Hard Drive is perfect for travel, and backing up digital images on the go. And at a reasonable price. I have several of these Hard Drives.

Got this on sale around $60. Saw on Amazon it was going for a little few dollars over so not bad. I have a previous WD external hard drive and satisified with them so I trusted the brand. The compatibility of this model and the color choices and the slim size made this ideal. Actually using it for my mother in law to store her pictures. Made her instructions and its easy for her. She's in her sixties and not too fond of computer use.

This is my second drive. I use them for storing music and work files that I can quickly access on my laptop any where without putting sensitive files on the cloud. They work flawlessly.

Bought this for my wife to save her files and she likes it. It is big enough to hold all of her embroidery files and all her documents and pictures. Easy to use, just plug in & go.

The passport hard drive is a great way to have external memory and can b easily taken any whee you go. Great for storing all your favorite movies games music and lots more. With this hard drive you can download all your games without using all your saving space on your gaming console

It is a plug and play so no AC adapter needed. Compact and fit perfectly in the case I bought for it. I did have it gift wrapped, it was placed in a blue and silver gift box but inside it had silver tissue paper wrapped around it to you could still see what it was. I don't think it was worth the extra money. I ended up re wrapping it myself. The person I had bought it for has a mac. It was simple to format it.

I am always on the lookout for good drives to use for backup purposes. I routinely have to deal with over 5 different computers at any time, and learned long ago the importance of making regular backups. I have found the WD My Passport drives to be completely reliable, and have never had any issues with them. In the past three years I have purchased more than ten of them, for my personal use. I strongly recommend them.

Excellent product for the dollar value. Easy set up with tons of storage for all my picture, music and video storage needs. Don't know why I waited so long before purchasing.

Bought this hard drive for my nephew's gaming system. He had it set up and running within a couple of minutes and is completely pleased with it. Nice drive at a good price.

I love how small this device is, and very easy to set up. I bought it to save some 3000 photos on our desktop that is getting very old. Works seamlessly and automatically.

I have always preferred Western Digital portable hard drives to those of other manufacturers. They require a single wire hookup, have a small profile, and are reliable.

Got this for a very reasonable price at BB. Needed a new backup storage unit and this is perfectly fitting the bill. It does come with a Seagate Dashboard software program that I found more annoying than useful so I uninstalled that. The drive works just like it should.

This replaced our broken external hard drive and I couldn't be more pleased with the size, it's so much less bulky, and its have more memory than our previous device.
