It made for a great Christmas add-on for sister who got a new MacBook Pro and all the needed and wanted accessories

Design is very simple. Just connecting to MacBook and it's ready to use.

Can’t beat the “ultra” model for fast performance. I’ve bought this external hard drive before. I use it to backup all my photos & my Mac. I needed more hard drive space. Reasonably priced & very simple to use.

Solid piece of technology. Great for storage and works efficiently.

I only use these external drives , easy plug and play and easy to transport with my laptop. We have one for each laptop and PC and find these much faster and easier to access than seagate ones

never had a problem with wD products and this one falls right in that excellent column

Worked well for about 3 months then started to notice it would disconnect itself, 4 months later it corrupted all my files on the drive.

Had it for about 8 months and it start acting funny as not be recognized. A couple of days later not able to be recognized at all. Save your money and go with a better brand a company that can back their products.
