Great size, great price and very easy to use. Would definitely buy another Western Digital product.

Good small external hard drive with a ton of storage at a really great price (and it was on sale).

The hard Drive has very good performance. Backup utilities included within its set of tools are very easy to configure but are very powerful, with some clicks you are ready to do your first data backup. I like a lot the password protection and the automatic device recognition so I don't have to enter the password every time I connect my own laptop.

I have many portable storage devices and I always seem to go back to Western Digital for their proven reliability. Plenty of storage for all my digital photo needs. There is a minor issue when I use it with my recently upgraded Win10 device. It seems like the portable drive tends to auto-sleep a lot sooner than it should, but this is a driver issue that I'm still waiting for either WD or Microsoft to fix.

Have had it about 3 months now without issue. It's smaller than I thought it would be and is recognized quickly by Windows 7. I am using it as a drive to backup Windows and pictures and such. It's quiet and runs cool after a system backup. Requires only a single cord into a USB 2 or 3 port, so no need to carry another power cord like the older backup drives. The enclosure is clean-looking and durable.

best portable drive I have ever bought. small and fairly inexpensive. lots of storage

This is the second one I purchased. I bought one for myself and liked it so much that I bought one for my brother. I have a mac and bought the mac version, but bought this version for my PC loving brother. Both have been fantastic as back up drives and transporting files anywhere needed. Really easy to use (like a giant usb). No problems at all and it has been over 6 months we have have them.

Nice compact size and easy to use. Just plug and play, no drivers to install system recognized it in XP and Windows 7. Lots of storage space (2GB) for backups. USB 2 and 3.0 compatible but does not seem very quick on 3.0. I get sustained transfer speeds of around 40-50 mbs using a 3.0 port which I thought would be faster. I get better speed out of ESATA drives which this does not have. Size is small for a 2TB drive and seems to be working fine, does not get hot even during large transfers of 400GB. I would recommend this for large storage solutions as long as you don't mind a slowish transfer rate.

I like the ease of incorporating the passport into my computer system where it can become an automatic backup for my data on a constant timeline. I have used 5 of them on my computers without any issues ever. In 2011 my hard drive crashed catastrophically and the passport had my back 100%.

This is my first external portable hard drive. I am an IT major colIege student and really needed a device that I could store and save alot on. This 2TB will definentally help. I like the titanium look. It is lightweight and the hard drive is a good portable size. The hard drive runs quiet. I enjoy the password protected feature. Con: The USB cord is short.

The size of this external hard drive is great. It is the slim edition and fits well. I am using it for more storage on my Xbox One. It fits well right beside it and looks good. The black/silver matches the Xbox One perfectly and is not a big and bulky unit. It works great. 5/5 Stars for sure and I even got it on sale. 2TB is perfect amount of storage.

Love the size, price and how easy it is as a plug and play device

I am a professional photographer and I do a lot of video too. Space and speed are important to me and this unit delivers. I use both Mac and PC So I buy the Windows version and reformat if I need iso. We have shipped these across the country and back... They are pretty tough. Not needing a power cord plug in is sweet! Buy it and buy it again!

I really enjoy this hard drive,especially compared to other brands of the same size. I have three of these now and I will stick with western digital in the future because the product is dependable. I have had no problems so far and hope to keep it that way. This is an excellent buy for the money and Best buy offers a rock bottom price for it.

I would recommend Western Digital devices for backup storage needs. This device has a large storage capacity in a device well designed for portability and speed, The added software brings more backup flexibility than Windows offers, and the USB 3.0 definitely speeds up the process of moving large files. Good value for a good price.

Easy to format and partition to function with BOTH PC & MAC simultaneously. 2 TB is a HUGE amount of storage space for this little Hard Drive.

Bought this item as a backup device, Just in case. Before using it, I had to download the proper software from the manufacturer. This is not a big deal unless you don't have internet service. So you should be aware of this requirement. Device seems to do as advertised, even after dropping it to the floor.

I bought this for the Xbox one. It downloads fast and plays just as smooth has if it was the Xbox one Hd. Easy to install. Just plug it in and the Xbox will prompt you to finish the the set up. Only takes a minute and you're ready to go

My WD (My Passport) Ultra was small enough to take with me on my dive vacation and had plenty of storage space to hole all my underwater shots, videos and then some. I still have plenty of storage room for many more trips. Love this little gadget, just plug it in and it's ready to use. How simple is that?
