The HD works great the only bad thing I can see for people is because it is USB 3 but it works with USB 2. The HD will not work or power on if you connect the USB cable into a USB 2 extension cable. Also I saw this HD on Amazon at the same price and it came with a HD case this one has NO case. I bought one for $5 at Target.

Portable Storage Works Great

If you are reading a review for an external Hard Drive you probably need a life but this is exactly what it claims to be, it is a very good price for the size of storage. You really can't go wrong with Western Digital.
