I've had mine and have had no issues. I own numerous My Passport Ultra from WD and absolutely love/trust this brand w/ my important files. This is my first portable sized WD, so now I can take it on the go! Also has cloud-back up and a 3 year warranty.

This is a great work horse drive. I work in video analytics for an Olympic team sport and our game files are 20 GB. The transfer speeds with USB 3.0 are great and even after 6+ hours of continuous use, I don't see much drop in the read/write speed.

This external drive with automatic back-up feature is awesome. The SmartWear automatically backs up any new or changed file., No manual intervention required. This promotes good piece-of-mind, knowing all your data is backed-up on a continuous basis.

I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable portable drive.

I had an older model and was so satisfied with it that I bought the 2 TB portable hard drive and its a great size and holds up really well and great price.

I was impressed with this 2.5" external right out of the box. It's well-built, quiet, and fast. I reformatted the drive for use as an Apple Time Machine backup drive, so I can't speak to the quality of the drive's included backup software.

As soon as I buy a music CD I rip it to MP3. I have replaced a lot of vinyl I bought in the 70s with digital downloads as well. I was running out of space till this little beauty. I copied all 5 of my old SATA drives to it and it's still only 1/3 full. I watched a DIVX episode of a TV show at the same time I was backing up a360gb drive to it. The video never lagged or froze.

This is a simple plug and play device. No issues using it to back up the tons of pictures and videos I have taken! It has been fast and reliable to date!

Never had problems with these hard drives always buy them to store my film jobs on set.

This is the 6th WD Passport that I own. They are all performing perfectly. The oldest one is over 4 years old. Two are 1TB and the other four are 2TB. I have found these drives to be fast and dependable and I have not lost one bit of data.

Works really well as a added storage for Xbox one.

We purchased this drive for a backup on our computer so we could protect our pictures.

Does just what it was supposed to and easy to connect. Love not having the power cord!
