I obsessed about this product for a whole week! I was able to store all my data from pictures to music to documents from 4 different computers. It's all on this handy device that literally holds my entire life.

have loved western digital HDs for many years, and am really enjoying these passports. small, don't need a power source (don't miss the days of the HUGE plug hogging outlets), 2TB of space for $70, love it!

I recently bought this hard drive to back up my computer and was looking for something that was within my price range. This hard drive was not only within my range, it also gave me more than enough storage. This hard drive has worked well so far, and I have not encountered any real problems.

we bought the version for both windows/mac but this external drive was formatted and ready for windows. To use with my daughters MAC we had to follow the instructions for the MAC. It worked ok, instructions a little off but we got thru it. Buying this version rather than the external HD made for the MAC saved us money. NO issues the price was right!!!

Can't go wrong with WD. I have had other ones for more than 5 years without any problems. Looks sleek. Does not need a separate power adaptor. Plug into your USB port and it is good to go. USB3 is fast.

Very solid and well-made portable hard drive. Excellent design and feel also. A perfect size usb connect external drive for travel, with plenty of space for pictures, movies, etc. I highly recommend it.

easy to use lots of memory compatable to both our apple lap top, our non apple desk top and our samsung tablet we use this to record TV programs and it works wonderfully very easy to figure it all out

This is a great portable hard drive. It is small & lightweight & being USB 3.0, it is really fast. The price was right too. This is my 3rd Western Digital (WD) hard drive and I highly recommend them.

This drive is large enough to both: store system images, and to externally store pictures, videos, and other data. A really frees up space on the laptop, and a quick easy option for laptop back-ups.

This hard drive is great for storing large amounts of data, whether it is computer documents or photos from smart phones. A very reliable hard drive. Do not forget to purchase a protective case.

I bought this to increase the storage space on the xbox one. Does the job well. The USB 3.0 and the RPM of the drive make it so there's no noticeable lag compared to the xbox internal drive.

Bought for my daughter. She is delighted by it's mobility. It has twice the space of the hard drive in her laptop. She never even had to ask for help or advice setting it up. Also a great price.

i have a wd 500 gb hd external hd. my book model. powered and using firewire so i was due for an upgrade. this is nice. 2 tb and usb 3.0 powered. i nice addition to my 13.3 asus chromebook.

I purchased this to store all my photos to save space on my iMac. This was very easy to get up and running on my Mac. So far it works great! I leave it connected to my computer all the time.

Great, compact portable hard drive. Though my USB cord is a little temperamental and hasn't worked with my Surface, I can use it with another cord and it works just fine. I now own 5 of these and it's the only portable hard drive I've used in years. I would have given it 5 stars if my cord didn't give me so problems with my Surface.

I bought this as an add on, I already have a 1,5 TB and several 1 TB pocket drives, there's lots of storage space and connects to my laptop with no issues, a good deal for the money...

Sales associate helped me find this drive when I was looking for another. This is more durable and was cheaper than the one I was originally going to get. Very happy with my purchase.

I love the WD Passport series for their size and capacity. I have had overall luck with them in years past, so I'm hoping this model continues the trend -- especially for the price!

I love this data storage; it is light weight and has lots of storage space, I easily moved all of my photos and documents to this USB. It was simple to use and I can take it anywhere.
