Excellent speed for a high capacity portable

They're the same exact drives, only slightly different in appearance and weight.Transfer rates are roughly 3x faster than that of a USB 2.0 drive. It Has worked flawlessly since it was put into use- absolutely zero problems. Excellent speed for a high capacity portable. comes with a little pouch.I love this drive , so I heartily recommend the product nevertheless.

pretty simple. Plug and play

He wanted to back the data up on an external just in case. It was simple. Plug in to the old computer and viola. Really not much needed to do other than that. The size is a huge plus. I had several external hard drives at home (older ones) that are easily 5 times bigger. I plan on buying more of these for myself so I can declutter my desk at home.

Compact and very portable

The amount of storage in such a compact unit is also nice. I also like the fact that is powered off of my laptop. I plan to purchase another one soon.

Peace of mind

It gives me great peace of mind having each file that has any changes automatically back up on the external drive. Setup was easy -- virtually automatic, and definitely trouble-free. Much simpler to use than the Cloud for backup, since this works seamlessly in the background. Good value for the money.
