Western Digital products are very good.

Reliable Unit

The transfer rate is better when plugged in to a USB 3.0 port versus a USB 2.0 but either way works fine. Haven't had any problems thus far with data corruption or long seek times.

I have two of these and used for backing up several devices within partitions. Easy to transport in a computer carry bag. Would have given five star if I knew it had a WD Black HDD.
