No trouble setting up or using. Speeds have been good so far but I haven't used too much space on the drive yet.

I bought a WD drive because I have one for over 3 years and experienced no problems. I needed a replacement for a Seagate 1.5 TB drive that went bad once during the warranty period and was repaired. However, last month the drive again failed and needed to be replaced. Needless to say, WD drives are now my no one choice.

This USB 3.0 backup drive is amazing with regards to speed and performance. It has a lot of versatility since it's small and portable; I thought about hooking it up to my router to use for multiple-computer backups and iTunes media server as well.

The WD my Passport Ultra hard drive works well. I was able to download all my info from an old PC to my new PC.

They are so much more good things on this product than cons. PRO: -Light and portable -Easily recognized like any flash drive on Windows Vista, 7 and 8 -Large space 2TB on a 2.5" size -Reliability and no worry about data corruption CON: -NONE Other thought: Not really a big con or even a con at all, but it doesn't work on Dell Venue Pro 8 because it requires standard USB power source. It is more the Dell Venue Pro 8 fault not the HDD itself. I already bought 9 passport series HDD and this is the second 2TB. Love them, and very realiable.

I have used the larger WD hard drives for years. This drive has a large capacity and is perfect for traveling.

at first it was difficult to use as the computer wasn't recognizing the software but we got it to work. the memory on the desktop was so filled that we couldn't use it anymore and this fixed that problem. great product.

This hard drive has the perfect amount of space for whatever your needs may be, up to and including extra space which is very much needed for the Xbox One. This external hard drive does the job well and holds a substantial amount of games.

I bought it to replace an older drive it works the same as the old one with the little bit better software

The WD My Passport Ultra is a great external drive for the price. Lots of storage and runs cool. The WD Smartware software is pretty decent too. It has password protection and gives a summary of the files on your system and the drive. You can upgrade to a "Pro" version that adds automated backups, but I doubt it'd be worth it for most users. The only complaint I have about the drive is that it doesn't transfer anywhere near its stated rate, but hat seems to be par for the course with almost every USB3 product.

I like that I don't have to plug it into an outlet for power. They are great for backing up my computer.

I bought this drive purely to use with the Xbox One and it's working perfectly. No complaints whatsoever.
