So far have no complaints. Was looking for something small and portable. WD usually tens to have solid reliable products.

Needed a new drive to cart around my iTunes library on another device and this was the perfect fix. Couldn't ask for more!

Drive is quiet and feels robust. After re-formatting the drive (ships formatted for Windows, I'm using it principally on a Mac), the drive came up right away and performs great, even at USB 2.0 speeds. No info. yet on reliability, as I have only been using it for a month, but so far...awesome!

I've purchased several of these over a period of time. Unfortunately I 'needed' to because once you drop them you are doomed! My latest mistake was downloading my questionable computer onto this product, then accidentally dropping it (maybe 3 feet) which apparently damaged it almost beyond repair. BB wants $1500 to retrieve the info on the unit! I really screwed up, but as one friend pointed out - I should have used the Cloud or a Google storage instead of this unit.

The system is great and has great features.i have had no problem with the hard drive and it does everything that i need to do. I don't have any issues with the quality or product it self but i would like to see a bigger hard drive amount other then 2 gig that you don't have to plug up.

Very handy to have as I can use on pretty much anything that accepts USB. Don't have to worry about another power supply

Bought this because I needed to back up my air. I recommend to split the memory between mac and PC. Im still having some issues opening files with a PC

I needed additional storage and this product works great for that purpose. Product was easy to use, installed quickly.

wd has great products. my book, passport,etc.. i bought this for music storage and it is very good and easy to use.

This drive has double the space of my old one and all the info fits easily. It is simple to connect and to operate.

Hard drives made by Western Digital are very reliable, high performance and worth to money

I was looking for a drive the did hardware encryption that I could find locally as I needed it that day. I found this one at BestBuy. I'll admit I was skeptical that it would deliver on the encryption for the size and price point, but was pleasantly surprised.

The 2TB WD My Passport Ultra, when on sale, is a solid performing storage solution that's dependable. I've had issues with the "non" ultra WD My Passports being recognized or losing their connection, but the Ultra versions seem to have a better controller.

slows with continued use. g-drive is the way to go if you can afford it, but the price is right on these... just back your stuff up.

Problems. Problems. From the start. I bought it to carry all my desktop files in a portable format. The desktop is USB 2. But then my newer laptop with USB3 will NOT (repeatedly) recognize the Ultra. Online help from WD is negligible. Online forums indicate this is a common problem and there is no easy solution. I've tried several with no effect. Worthless other than as a backup to the computer that recognizes it.
