    Vwry happy qith my extrenal hard drive It is a 500 gig which is how big my hard drive is on my laptop therefore I can back everything up onto my external hard drive.

    I have hundreds of new files each week on my system and I needed a reliable back up drive. This was easy to set up and schedule regular weekly back ups. This is working out fine so far. I have not had to retrieve any files from it so far, that is why I am only giving 4 starts. It seems to me reviews should be posted 6 months to a year after purchase, not a few weeks.

    I carry this with me most places I go as it holds install files troubleshooting tools, and various linux isos. The backpack I keep it in does get knocked around a bit and there have been times when kids and animals have knocked the drive off of the desk and it as well as its wire have handled it with no issues.
