EXCELLENT for quick plug and play

I was afraid it was going to die on me. I did some research on my phone. Ran to best buy, back to work, put all my files into one file. Plugged this monster into my laptop and put the file into it. BAM......saved. I bought this specific one because it works well with Macs.

I also use it for my plugins (effects and other things for recording and mixing). Great to have!! I love it!!

Fast Drive For Editing Video

Having that option make it versatile plus it’s fast speed for editing but file 4K raw video.

If you need the space and you have time...

It is SLLLOOOWWW! Compared to the many SSDs that are readily available. But if you need a bunch of space for a lower $ this is a great solution.

Back Up for My Mac Desktop

WD Only

After wasting four weeks of my time, I returned it and went back to WD's MAC ready drive and have not have one issue. Works as described.

It could be a little cheaper, but at least it’s on par with its value.  Don’t expect to edit videos off of this thing. This is more for storage only.
