This is the biggest waste of money. The first one failed right out of the packaging. The replacement seemed to be working until 7mo later when it too failed. We had hundreds of pictures from our daughters first few months. Hopefully Data Recover can get them off the drive. Hours on the phone to WD just for them to tell me “sometimes this happens.” If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

I imagine it works, but based on other reviews...

Bought it and it failed out of the box. Talked to tech support at WD and they and I tried a few things, but nothing worked. Ended up returning as defective. After reading reviews (should have read before hand), I realize I am not the only one with issues.

This was purchased and returned on two occasions. On both occasions I could not get the wireless pro to connect. I purchased the two terrabyte on and it worked great.

Junk. Failed out of the box, received a replacement and it failed 6mo later. Had to do an expensive recovery to get my data back.

I like the wireless function however wish the interface was easier to work with like drag and drop to the HD and it automatically updates. Other than that it works good

The idea is there, but the execution is not. This wouldn't pair with ANYTHING. Not a phone, laptop, iPad, NOTHING. We exchanged it multiple times thinking we may have had a faulty one, but they don't work as they should and afterward I searched the reviews and I wasn't the only one with problems.

Would not show up in wireless mode. Would not show up in Finder on Mac. Could not format it using Mac Disk Utility. Totally worthless device.
