I finally freed up a lot of space on my PS5 with this hard drive. Most PS4 games can be loaded directly to it and played from the hard drive! Transferring PS5 games back and forth is simple and fast!

I needed a new hard drive for my PS4 since my Seagate wasn't cutting it, and I wanted to get my money's worth, so I did research on this baby. Getting this out of the way, you CAN use this not just for PC/laptop, but for consoles. When it comes to downloading and transferring data, the time it takes in my opinion is faster than what I was previously using. It runs smooth and quiet. I cannot for the life of me seeing myself breaking this drive. It's a tough device. And by any chance it does break down on you, there's a nice warranty. Really, the only downsize is the price. Because there are different sizes, it all depends on what you really need. If you can get them on sale (which I did), it's a great investment. I think I'll stick with this brand instead of Seagate.

small, fast and easy to setup. Easy to format and start loading games to the drive. like the small form factor and the speed is a big improvment over the internal HD of the Xbox One. Great way to add storage to your console.

Amazing design, solid, compact to carry anywhere, easy to use!

This drive has been fantastic so far - its very fast - you can play games from it if the game supports it - i have run WoW and some Xbox games - it works great for Mobile DJing etc.

Great addition to the xbox for my kids. Gave them so much extra space to download games that I don't have to hear them fight about it anymore!! Easy to set up and very durable

I'm happy with the physical size of the drive it makes it easy to slide it into my pocket when I need to take it with me. Has sufficient storage to transfer large amounts of pictures and video. I've always use WD for my home storage and this is an easily portable solution. The plus is I haven't misplaced it like my flash drive.

Great devide for your PS4 storage, works smooth and you don't have to worry about delete games all the time, it's a really good improvement to your system.

This hard-drive is perfect for xbox use. It loads my games just as fast as the internal hard-drive and it has a lot of storage. Its easy to hook up and use.

I have always been a fan of WD_Black and this doesn’t disappoint. I have been using this day in and day out with no issues. Easy hook up and set up. Transfers are seamless and portability is excellent!

I got tired of constantly running out of room on the internal xbox drive, so I bought this. Wow, can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Not only does it solve the storage dilemma, but it speeds everything up. I moved all games to this external drive, leaving only the required system software and various apps. This really speeds up the boot time of my console. I had no idea how inefficient and sluggish the on-board hard drive was.

Worked great out of the box. Built a new PC with just nvme ssd sticks, so no mechanical harddrive inside the case. And then I saw this thing with 4tb's and usb3.2 and whatnot, and it was like $100?? But a similar internal mechanical HDD was like $120-150? HUH? So, yeah, this little guy sits on my desk now and holds all my backup docs and games and music and whatnot. The contouring on the case is cool, too, looks like really industrial/espionage-y.

Needed something with a large amount of storage for my PS4 games to be loaded on to our new PS%. This works great, yes an external SSD would help with faster load times and transfer speeds but this was better in terms of value. The speed is just fine for PS4 games. Easy to use, plug and play. Plus after all our PS4 games were loaded we have 700GB left to store PS5 games that we have beaten and are not going back to for a while. FYI you cannot play PS5 games off this drive.

I’ve had the drive on my gaming PC since January and love the flexibility and storage the drive has provided. You can safely store games on the drive and play from the drive with little to no drop off in performance. I’ve set my Steam installation to this drive and the performance has been great. No trouble recommending this drive to any fellow gamers looking for storage, value and performance.
