I’m a photographer and I own a lot (and I mean a lot of hard drive). WD has been pretty reliable and affordable for me. I actually just got this one because it’s a different design but seems to be fasting than my other hard drives. Even my Lacie rugged HD. I would definitely by it again.

I have had other WD, 2TB in the past and have been very stable, quick, and reliable. Upgraded to the 4TB as I have way to much data for the 2TBs. Sleek design and style. Ease of use for sure.

Bought this to increase the storage for games on my PC. The drive has had no issues and seems to be well built. The durability seems good, as I've accidentally dropped it twice and it continues to work without issue. I've even ran entire emulators off the drive and they've ran perfectly fine. Would purchase again.

My older WD external hard drive wasn't exactly portable so after a few years of taking it hear and there, it started to give me some loading issues. This Black series is incredibly compact, super durable, and everything I needed in a portable hard drive for my Xbox One X. Very easy to setup and the load times are absolutely fantastic. Excellent product, especially if you can get it with a sale price!

Very good item. I purchased it so I can back up from my gaming computer some of my steam games. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it is USB and not USB-C But it is fast it is portable and worth every penny. Have not tried it for any of the game consoles I are in because I already have a large drive but once I convert my steam games to a different computer I may try.

I like how sturdy it is and the price. Been working fin so far with no issues. I’m sure some people won’t like the size cause it’s pretty big but I personally like it.

The WD black external hard drive is perfect for storing and moving video files between editors and downloading your other SD cards and live documentary video shoots. I purchased three of these WD black hard drives for my team do use when were running fast in live production filming and postproduction editing in our teams.

Awesome quality . And fast HD . I used this on my xbox series x . It works great for my xbox one games but not for series x games.

Reliable hard drive , plenty of space, this hard drive does what i need it to do, Was running out of space on my pc this helped with that, without me spending too much.

Was hesitant about buying gamer branded tech, since it's mostly for cost markups based on flashy advertising, but this one proves its worth. Was up and running on my PS4 in minutes, solid read/write speeds, and no issues to date unlike my pervious Seagate EHD. So worth the money and looks cool, that's a win/win in my book.
