Super fast, easy to connect to PS5. I see no difference when playing PS4 games fully loaded and played from this drive vs. the internal PS5 drive. Looks very nice at night with the side LED's. Only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is the price

This storage extension is sleek, looks nice and i love the led lights on it, very simple to use, just plug it in and your ready to use it, id recommend it if you need more storage for games or others things.

Bought this after my laptop was close to running out of room from the internal SSD's and it's been great so far running Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate and Cyberpunk. Haven't experienced any stutters, glitches and load times are excellent. One thing to note however is that you should make sure that you have USB Gen 3 2x2 if you want to make the full use this SSD for read/write which will for USB is very good as you'll get roughly 2k read and 2k write. While not as fast as putting an NVME in a PCIE lane it's come a long way for USB storage and can be 4 times faster than a standard SATA SSD. However if you have only USB 3.2 gen 2 you'll get about half the throughput which is about 1k read/write. While it's still twice as fast as a SATA SSD it's something to take note of if you want to make the most out of this drive. All in all, great purchase for adding more storage in a pinch!

Loads up games quickly and has plenty of storage for everyday use. Very potable as well and doesn't take up much space.

I use this game drive on my PC mostly for VR titles and older games. No, it's not an SSD and it loads games a bit slow, but it still works good. I even played some newer AAA titles on this 5400RPM drive and it was fine. Some things will pop in-game a little slow at first, but as soon as the game loads up all the way their is little to no performance issues.

This works great! I set it up on my laptop and all my games run without issues. Fast and easy.

I actually bought one of these awhile ago and i absolutely love it!!! I recommend this out of anything or brand out there!!! I was using standard sdd storage and then saw this so i bought it as i said above obviously but they save the files so when you plug in and it has the app, it just adds the game or so without redoing anything so definitely will stick with. If you play star citizen these wont work for them

When I tell you I could have cried when I plugged this into my computer and it just immediately *worked*. I spent 3 hours trying to get a Sandisk Pro SSD to work earlier and after finally giving up I switched to this SSD. Even better this was $60 cheaper too! The colors are cool and it's quick as hell. Perfect for Baldur's Gate!

This is the 3rd one of these i have purchased. They are fantastic to hold of my sons extra PC games. The read and write speed are excellent. The little extra RGB is a fun touch too. Over all great device fair price and excellent performance.

Son loves it. It was easy to setup and his games run smoother using this then they did prior on his laptop

Like that it is suffcienly fast (389 Mbps on writes and 366 Mpbs on reads on a 5GB file). Still going strong after about a month's use. Will report back in a year to announce how it is doing. Hoping to have at least 5 years use with this drive.

Great SSD with rgb lighting, fast and very reliable so far. I take it all over the place and so far no problems at all. Would definitely recommend, maybe even buy another.

I purchased to replace a Sandisk extreme usb c drive. I didn’t expect much of a difference but wow was I wrong. The transfer speed is so much better with the wd black p40. The app is also very easy to use.

A great piece of hardware! I ran numerous heavy graphics games off of it on both MacOS and Windows; transferred files with no problem; and lastly, I absolutly love RGB, so this hit all of my marks! My only problem with it was that it got very hot very fast (which of course is entirely expected when i used it for what i did). Would recommend to any person (gaming, photos, etc.) looking for a fast, reliable, quality, and portable SSD.

The drive is extremely small, compact, and fast. From games to transferring files on my Mac, this ssd has been working perfectly for me. Will definitely be on the look out for this item again for my other devices when it goes on sale.

Just what I needed for my Ps5. 1TB of memory has taken care of my console memory problems. I like that is external so I don’t have to take anything off.

I needed more storage on my Xbox one s and this drive is amazing. Speeds are decent and I can’t tell a difference from what’s being played from this drive vs internal. Sale price was even better. Awesome ssd

Great for those gaming laptops that just dont have enough memory to keep up with your games. Can also be used for game consoles.
