    I recently purchased a new HP desktop system which came pre-configured with a 1 TB D: drive. Excellent machine, but internal storage was a bit lacking (and to think I remember when I thought a 10 MB hard drive was phenomenal :-) ). I replaced it with this WD 2 TB hard drive, which installed very easily. Pull out the old one, connect the two cables, and configure the system to accept the new drive - easy! I've been a WD consumer for many years, and always found their products to be extremely dependable.

    Installation of this drive went without a hitch, no problems at all. I am using it as a "working" hard drive as drive D, where most of my programs are being installed. My boot drive C was changed to a solid state drive, strictly for the operating system. This keeps performance at its best in my opinion. So far this drive performs well, and I have had zero issues with it. I highly recommend it!
