Dead on Arrival and can’t return after 3 weeks.

DOA. I bought this 3 weeks before I started my build and realized I couldn’t initialize or even troubleshoot the drive. 1 day out of return period.
The drive isn’t even registered for WD warrant like the the same drives I ordered through new eggg.

I recently purchased 2 of these for my NAS. Unfortunately, on the 31st day after the purchase, one of them went bad. I have shipped it off to WD but have not received it back yet. I am really frustrated that it failed so soon. The price was good, but the quality was not.

Be aware, WD red pro is very loud, it has a feature called preventive wear leveling which make a ticking noise every few seconds, it’s impossible to use them in bedroom.
