The family, workers at zoo and community come together for success. DVD extras gave a glimpse of the actual zoo and family. Must see family film!

We Bought a Zoo is an underrated film that is great for the family. Director Cameron Crowe delivers another emotional ride, and performances by Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, and Elle Fanning are superb. A great feature on the Blu-ray is a family friendly mode that edits out a handful of harsher profanities.

Had wanted this movie for a while. Years ago, rented the the movie a couple of times and it wouldn't play in the DVR. It was once last week. Searched for it and bought it. It plays in my box. Thank you.

I loved this movie it is great for families. It dealt with alot of things that single parents might go through- Love and understanding is the best thing to keep a family together and this movie had everything- Love Matt and Scarlet and the kids were great. True story

A great movie for the family. This one is a fun drama/comedy loosely based on a real-life family. It is interesting how the animals are portrayed and interact with the people. Kids will love the animals.

I so enjoyed watching this with the girls and my husband. We are members of San Diego Zoo and Safari Park; which is very close to the Actual zoo in this movie. I was very touched by the intimacy with the elder tiger and his eventual demise. Great portrayal acting.

It's nice to see a struggling family succeed. The movie is set in California where as the story it's based on happened in England, but it's no less of a good tale for the struggle to success for it. The actors are great, the ending is happy, and no bullets have to fly to make it enjoyable.

IThe price of $2.99 was unbelievable , it was a great family film! He bought a house with a backyard as a zoo, he wasn't told it came with a zoo. To his surprise, he bought a zoo and had to make it work with the employees that also came wiith the property.

Great cast all around. Story of a family that needs a change in order to come together. They manage that by buying a zoo and get so much more. Meanwhile, there's a zoo that needs new caretakers and they wind up with a great family. Really a sweet, heartwarming story.

This is a great family movie. I watched it twice within the first day lol! The story itself is great and the characters make it come alive. I especially loved the fact that it was based on a true story. The father/kid interaction is awesome!

I had a copy, but someone borrowed and didn't return it, probably because they couldn't part with it. It is a must to see often.

Loved the film! The movie came in the right amount of packaging. Sometimes I order blu-rays from other sites and the plastic blu-ray cover is chipped or cracked but not from best buy! Deff going to order from best buy again.

Nice story about a dad, his son, and daughter seeking a new adventure after the mother's death by buying a defunct zoo and returning it to operation. Based on a true story. Good for all ages - I enjoyed it more than I expected I would.

I really like this movie and want to go to the actual zoo this movie is based on. matt damon and scarlett johansson were great. it was nice to see scarlett in a movie without action scenes, period clothing, etc.

I thought this movie was great for the whole family, especially if you love animals!!! There were some sad parts in it but all turned out well in the end and the characters were great. Fun movie to watch.

Very simple script that a friend said was boring but I liked the interaction between family members and how they handled the issues the family was going through. It is a clean movie that the whole family can enjoy with only minor language.

I wasn't really expecting to enjoy this movie, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Lots of quirky characters and some great acting. It has a positive message and is a great watch for the whole family!

It's a very heart-warming movie. Deals with the ups and downs of having kids, along with the ups and downs the kids experience.
