First off, R.I.P. Phife Dawg. Album was FRESH! This album is what hip-hop needs. Everybody did their thing on that album. It was AWESOME to have the vocals of Phife on this new record and he totally SLAYED it! ATCQ came back fresh with their original classic sound and I'm GLAD they did that! I love every track of this album. Unfortunately, this is officially ATCQ's last album.

This is an unexpected and beautiful end to one of my favorite hip-hop groups of all-time.
18 years after their last release, Tribe got back together to craft this final gem before Phife Dawg passed away. The sound is both new and familiar; this album doesn't sound like any of Tribe's previous releases, but it is unmistakably Tribe.
My favorite hip-hop release of 2016.

As someone over 30, I've been a fan of A Tribe Called Quest since the 90's...When they broke up in 1998 I was devastated. With the loss of Phife, I'd never imagine I would hear new music from them again, until now. Social Commentary, great beats, awesome guest appearances, it's like they never left. A fitting sendoff from one of Hip Hop's Pioneers!

Although they could have rested on their untouchable first three records and used the untimely death of Phife Dawg to bookend their status as hip hop royalty and cement their legacy, Tribe instead gave us their first new album in 18 years, and it's a worthy, relevant addition to their discography - both familiar and forward-moving.

This is a throwback in many ways to great hip hop. It has a sound that is great for background while working or an epic roadtrip. The featured artists dont really add to the project, but Busta brought back his style and persona from the 90s which made him special. Qtip was a standout in his flows and the tribute to Phife was nice.

A Tribe Called Quest truly brings it for their final album. While Ali Shaheed Muhammad isn't in the credits, the double album stays true to what made Tribe so great in the first place, while adding in new sounds. It's great to hear Phife Dawg one last time, and its one of the best albums of the year.

Listening to it with nostalgia from the 90s it definitely is great quality production and the overall lyricism and creativity is well needed in this hip hop era. I especially loved Busta getting back to his hype and unique style along with Qtip's quick rhythms and wordplay. I highly recommend.

A Tribe Called Quest are back for a grand finale that sounds fresh and old school. New production that sounds like old Tribe with fresh bars and flows. Every feature kills it, especially Consequence & Busta Rhymes. I'm so proud of Q-Tip, Phife Dawg (R.I.P.), Ali Shaheed Mohammed, & Jarobi White.

I'm an old school hip-hop enthusiast
and a big Quest/Native Tongue fan, and to see them put out one last album together brings joy to this old school b-boy. Although this cd is not up to par with Midnight Marauders (my favorite ) it does have a its own flava and style that makes it already an instant classic. To hear the group
(especially Phife..RIP) rapping again is refreshing from what's currently available. A must buy.

After a 18 year hiatus, ATCQ makes a surprising & very welcomed return...This is there most politically charged project ever...Great features, Fantastic Beats & "Lyrics to Go"...Enjoy this project from one of the GREATEST groups in HIP HOP...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!...R.I.P. Phife Dawg.

16 years is a long time, but it feels like they didn't miss a beat. Q-tip and the remaining members are on point in each track, bringing some great sampling and beats laced with thought provoking lyrics. Even if they don't make more albums, this is a fitting end to the great Tribe.

Who knew that ATCQ would reform and put out a new album after an 18 year hiatus? And who knew that tragedy would strike, taking one of their own way too early in life. This album reflects the current life and times, but is guaranteed to be just as relevant 18 years from now.

After 18 years of no music from this legendary hip-hop group, A Tribe Called Quest is back like they never left. I think ATCQ fans will be very pleased with this album. They have an updated sound without losing the typical Tribe vibe. The album is definitely on repeat.

Like a lot of old not every song is a hit, but they still were able to give you enough good rap verses and beats to make a good album. Q-tip and the crew display word diversity, metaphors and current culture references that show how skillful rap/music should be mostly with occasional exceptions on one track an album maybe...in order to be published.

Classic hip hop album! Just what the game needed. Glad these guys was able to deliver a solid piece of work after 18 years of not being on the scene. RIP to fallen group member Phife Dawg, he would have been proud of this album's accomplishments.

This album was long overdue. I am a huge tribe fan and waiting this long is ridiculous but well worth the wait. The diseased we the people has taken over my eardrums and caused me to be a zombie to the rhythm. RIP Phife this one slays...YASS!!!

This record needs, I repeat, NEEDS to be part of your collection. With all the bad musical moments of 2016 including the death of founding member Phife Dawg this record reminds you of the power and importance of music in our lives. Must have!
