I bought a Weber EX335, with the wireless temp monitoring feature that is not functioning properly. I have tried working with Weber customer support, with nothing but frustration.  The digital display only gives me an ‘E10’ error code. Firstly, their online support ‘robot’ just cycles around back to the first question it asks - it’s worthless. The second real person I’ve tried to get help from for the same E10 issue has ordered me a ‘digital keychain’, which is what the first real person did. How is a third identical part going to make any difference? Also, another issue to mention. The temp gauge display is ‘on’ when it’s plugged into 110 a/c (only displays the E10 code) but does not show any when I have my battery pack connected. The battery pack is fully charged, works with all my other compatible devices, and appears to meet Weber specs in the operation and/or installation manuals. I’ve paid more for this grill than I did for my high quality kitchen oven. I wish I just repaired/cleaned up the Weber grill that I just passed on to my niece. I would still have a grill that would work as expected and saved myself $1,600 and a bunch of frustration. I’ve already felt embarrassed because the sensor wasn’t working for our Memorial Day gathering. Now it won’t be working for Fathers Day, which also coincides with my birthday. NO HAPPY FATHERS/BIRTH DAYS FOR ME!!!

Hi! We're sorry to hear about your experience. E10 indicates that the grill identification cable is not inserted into the back of the Weber Connect display. We recommend checking all of the connections under the side table after confirming the main grill is off and that the power sources have been disconnected. Then, make sure all connections are secure, but especially focus on the "Jumper Cable" connection. Unplug and re-plug in the Jumper Cable. Power the unit back on and see if the error code persists. If code is still present, please contact us at reviews (at) weberstephen (dot) com. Thanks!

The grill doesn’t work when you actually can’t get it assembled. BB’s contract delivery company (Innovative Freight Service) was supposed to deliver it, but three drivers refused to assemble it even though I paid for it. Excuses: “It was too hot,” “doesn’t have a drill with the right bit,” and most insulting, “this is what women are supposed to do. I’m a man and men don’t to this.” BB uses this company in multiple states. Do yourself a favor and order it from Home Depot.
