My computer buddies all use it. There are other softwares out there who claim the fame, but they don't stop the really nasty viruses that can burn through your firewall. Make sure you get the webroot for the right operating system, my bad the first time. I tried the others and my computer got infected.

(never saw it use more than 10 MB of RAM). None of this means much, however, when it's falsely identifying safe programs as containing malware. I've switched to a different program that's been running exceptionally well and would not recommend Webroot at any price.
